His ability to work over 50 hours a week and still stay dedicated to his physique has caught the attention of and inspired many. In the Beginning 

I originally started bodybuilding when I was fifteen (1983), inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger and his book, “The Education of a Bodybuilder”. I was passionate about bodybuilding all through high school…hoping to be a great bodybuilder someday. But things changed quickly after high school. College, work and friends became my new commitments. I started smoking when I was eighteen and started drinking on the weekends. My healthy lifestyle slowly faded away, although I continued to train hard into my mid twenties.

Lost The Way

By the time I was thirty, I had completely stopped exercising. I was self-employed as a stock trader in the late 90’s. I chained smoked, drank tons of coffee and was very stressed out. In 2003, I filed bankruptcy and struggled financially for several years afterwards. By the time I was in my late thirties, my overall health was very poor. My lungs burned when I smoked and I was constantly coughing, spitting and out of breath. After twenty two years of smoking, I successfully quit on my son’s 12th birthday.

I remained somewhat active until I took a desk job in 2008. By 2010, I started to develop severe lower back pain. I tried chiropractic support belts which helped, but the issue was getting worse. I was in constant pain and considered seeing a chiropractor. One day on a whim I decided to workout. 

Inspired

My wife had bought me a weight set and it was sitting unused for two years. That workout was amazing! It was the first time I felt a pump in a decade! It felt so good to train, I was hooked from that moment on. After only thirty days of training, ALL of my lower back pain disappeared! Within two years, I had regained all my prior strength from my twenties. 

Leading The Way

I have now been training for four years and have entered my third bodybuilding contest. My goal is to continue eating healthy, training hard and seeing how far I can develop my physique and strength. I’m passionate about training again. This has been a fantastic time in my life. I hope I can inspire others.

Developer Bio

Rubber Arm Muscle Rub was developed by a former professional baseball player who has been working in the Biopharmaceutical Industry for the past 15 years. enny Wentz played high school football and baseball at Halifax County Senior High School where he was the starting quarterback and infielder/pitcher for the Blue Comets. After high school, Lenny was offered a baseball scholarship to Virginia Tech where he played from 1986 to 1990. In 1990, Lenny signed with the Cincinnati Reds and played in their organization until he was traded to the San Diego Padres in 1993. Shortly after that trade, Lenny suffered a career ending shoulder injury. He then became a high school teacher and head baseball coach at Amherst County High School. After teaching and coaching for 4 years, Lenny was offered a biopharmaceutical sales position. Lenny suffered a snow skiing accident in 1998 which tore the labrum muscle in his right hip. For years, Lenny
dealt with severe pain which limited his physical activity. Before the injury he was an avid runner, weight
lifter, and golfer. He could no longer enjoy these activities because of the pain they caused. In 2010, Lenny remembered an old family remedy his grandmother (who was a registered nurse) had introduced to him. Born in Hartford, CT but basically grew up in Attleboro, 

MA and graduated from Attleboro High School in 1997. 
I attended Stonehill College in Easton, 
MA and graduated with my degree in Marketing and a 
Computer Information Systems Minor in 2001.
During college I worked several jobs simultaneously which included
driving limousines for wedding events, GNC Sales Associate and ran my own landscaping
business. In addition, I began doing some TFP modeling work which led to being
“discovered” by a talent scout while out on the town in Boston one night. Soon after I began 
doing contract work for Candy Ford in Boston/NYC and included print, runway, fitness and
spokesperson work.

My love for bodybuilding and getting “big” put an end to my runway days but by that point I
was out of college and looking to start a career with my degree. Fast forward just over 10 
years and I started competing in 2011 in the NPC in the newly formed MPD. AS they say 
“the rest is history” and now I am pursuing my IFBB Pro Card in Physique and hope to 
eventually start my own personal training, contest diet/prep business to help other achieve 
their fitness goals.
